Been away for quite some time now...
After a good break at 'The Tamara' in Coorg, which I highly recommend for complete relaxation and gastronomic pleasures, I feel the need to express myself more than ever before.
I was amidst nature and sounds of nature trying to figure out which made my solitude more better, when I realised that you are never alone!
I was amongst a sea of unknown creatures trying to communicate with their own species in a language only they understood. All I knew is those sounds of nature could be territorial in nature or mating calls, or maybe an even more complex communication which we as humans fail to recognise.
There I was amidst the buzzing of bees, the humming of insects, chirping of birds, the rustling of leaves, the croaking of frogs, the warbling of Wrens! I knew that these were sounds or audible signals made by any one species to its own or any other species establishing boundaries so that like or unlike species will not transgress those boundaries. And I questioned myself, when all God's creations communicate with each other why was I searching for solitude? Are we in a generation of over communication? Maybe we need time-off sometimes to learn to appreciate our highly developed communication skills?
In the end I finished my short vacation with the knowledge that we can never really be alone. Even amidst nature you are surrounded by sounds of nature. Maybe not understandable but nevertheless a mode of communication for some species.
When we go in search of solitude into jungles, we transgress upon the territory of other species and are astounded by their sounds, the same way a wild animal escapes the jungles and finds himself in the city and finds the 'sounds of a city' mysterious and strange.
